Creative Youth Programming in Libraries- Big Hit!

Thank you to everyone who came to hear Ben Anderson talk about programming at his library.  We had a huge turnout and learned some great ideas for teen programming as well as working with library adminstration.

Our informal discussion: standing room only!

Ben Anderson, explaining what he does best- hosting teen raves at the library.

Creative Youth Programming at Public Libraries

Join us for an informal discussion with Ben Anderson, the teen librarian at the Monroe branch of the Sno-Isle library system. Ben has been a medical librarian, children’s librarian, combined youth-services librarian and teen librarian. He found his passion working with at-risk teens in the Monroe Library and has orchestrated several non-traditional library programs including a rave and after-hours laser tag. Learn how these crazy ideas were inspired, developed and executed. Snacks will be provided. Bring questions!
