Best Illustrated Children’s Books 2012

Earlier this month, the New York Times released their list, via twitter, of the Best Illustrated Children’s Books of 2012.  10 books have been selected for this year’s award, which also happens to be the 60th anniversary of the award with Caldecott winning illustrator Chris Raska as one of the judges.  It would be interesting to see if any of these books go on to win a Caldecott for 2013. We’ll have to watch carefully. You can find the list on the Horn Book website.
